The Strength of Silence
I create images in a personal language in which I strive to transmit an experience of silence and harmony. The words I use are elements from architecture, particularly that of the Italian Renaissance. During the painting, architectural elements change into image elements. By setting the elements in a layered composition and using transparent colors, an experience of the strength of silence may arise.
